My background of art and design began with a love of drawing Disney and comic book characters as a child. My artistic side was nourished at home and school, which led to my decision to try Graphic Design at Oxford & Cherwell Valley College where I discovered a love of digital art and photography. Multi-Media at Leeds Metropolitan University was my next choice, which broadened my musical and media skills.

After my first year of University, in 1999, I was diagnosed with M.E/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. Over the years I volunteered my skills until I was able to start my own business professionally. I am very proud to have built Taylor Maid Designs to where it is now. I work part-time from home, in the afternoon and evenings, when I am able.

In the last 20 years I have worked with an array of people on various types of projects, including Seamstress Ltd., Panopticon Films, My Little Big Town, I Can Dance Shrewsbury, Byfield School, Cavalcade Books and Arcturus Publishing, as well as personal projects such as portraits, invites and wedding albums.

Illustrators, graphic artists and website designers can be very intimidating and expensive. This is where I can help.

I find it very rewarding to help people create something special and personal or to help a new business off the ground.
